Turney Time Big Brother 11 also known as Casino Royale is the eleventh season of the Turney Time Big Brother Series, which began on June 26, 2016, and ended with The Reckoning on July 13, 2016.
The season continued on through Turney vs. Suitman: Worlds Collide, where the seven remaining houseguests merged with the nine remaining castaways from Suitman's Survivor: Solomon Islands.
Production[]
This season featured 8 new houseguests and 8 former houseguests of the Turney Time Big Brother series. During the Final 10 of Redemption House, the application process started for this season. Applications ran starting from June 7, 2016, where all applicants were asked to send in their application via mail to maintain secrecy and any past houseguest who was not on Redemption House was allowed to apply. Applications closed on June 14, 2016, with a total of 22 past houseguests and 29 new houseguests applying.
The cast was handpicked from the pool of applicants by production, with keys being sent to the selected houseguests on June 18, 2016. The full list of house guests names was revealed during the cast reveal on June 23, 2016.
Twists[]
The season featured a house of half returning houseguests. Outside of the returning houseguests, the main twist this season was the "Casino Room," where houseguests were sent to the Casino Room to spin the Roulette Wheel for a reward or punishment based on if they get their secret target evicted or if their secret partner is evicted. In addition, three houseguests were sent to the Casino Room each week to spin the Slot Machine for the right to make a third nominee.
- Teams: The houseguests were divided into four different teams, however they were based on their desired future occupation. The "future leaders" were put on Mandalay, the "future scientist and saviors" were put on Bellagio, the "future creators and visionaries" were put on Aria, and the "future entertainers" were put on Encore. If someone in the clique won Head of Household, then the entire clique is safe from eviction for that week.
- The Reckoning: The seven remaining Casino Royale houseguests merged with the nine remaining Suitman's Survivor: Solomon Islands castaways on July 13, 2016, sparking a brand new continuation hybrid season, Turney vs. Suitman: Worlds Collide.
- Assassins: At the start of the each houseguest was given a target, that they had to get evicted. If they got their target evicted, then they would receive a new target. Once a houseguest successfully got their target evicted, they would be allowed to spin the Roulette Wheel for a reward.
- Secret Partner: Each houseguest was given a secret partner at the start of the season, which they had to try and protect. If their partner got evicted at any point during the twist, the houseguest would be forced to spin the Roulette Wheel for a punishment.
- Roulette Wheel: After each eviction, the roulette wheel is spun at least once to give a houseguest a punishment of reward. The only houseguests eligible to spin the Roulette Wheel is the houseguest who lost their partner or got their target evicted in the most recent eviction.
- Slot Machine Nominee: Each week, three houseguests selected based on a given criteria are selected to test their luck with the slot machine. The winner of the Slot Machine for that week will be given the power of making a third nomination in secret.
- Double Eviction: Also known as a Fast Forward Day is when a week's worth of Big Brother happens all in one night. The double eviction for this season took place during Week 7.
- Returning Houseguest: Eight memorable houseguests from past seasons returned to the house for a chance to compete again.
